UNEVEN BRAKES WEAR FOLLOW UP QUESTION 850 1995

I just replaced front brakes(pads and rotors)on my 95 850 GLT because outer pad on right side wore out much sooner then other pads. I suspected a sticking caliper pon that side, but the caliper collapsed without any difficulty, also the inner pad on same side did not show any excessive wear. The right outer pad is about 3mm, and all other pads are about 7mm.
I wonder what can be the cause of the problem?
