The car is an 1996 855T5 (Turbo Wagon).
88K Miles.
I replaced the rear pads (PBR) and rotors (Brembo) about 18 months ago (15K Miles). Since then the rear brakes have been squealing I took the wheels off
the driver side to inspect the front and rear brakes and found that the piston side
pad in the rear is wearing un evenly. The thickness at the top edge of the
pad is about 1.5 to 2 times the thickness of the lower edge when looking in the
opening where you see the edge of the rotor and the pads on either side.
Did I miss something when I installed the pads? I have seen this phenomenon on
other disk brake cars including when the pads were factory installed.
What is causing this?
