ABS no more 850 1993

Sadly the ABS/TRACS on my 850GLT passed away recently, ie.the hydraulic unit is shedding copious amounts of fluid. Replacement appears not to be an option as the dealer parts amount to more than the cars value and salvage parts are by all accounts virtually unobtainable(oh yes I've tried). Anyone got any solutions. My inclination is to bypass the ABS altogether.
Fer christs sake help someone!
