I have a 1998 Volvo C70 HT Coupe Manual. My car did not come with sidemarkers. Instead, there are Volvo emblems taped over where the sidemarker goes. When I took off the emblems, there were perfect cut holes for the Hella Volvo sidemarker to fit into.

My question is, on my model year, is there wires hidden near the holes that just plug into the sidmarkers? (I bought the markers and they have plugs at the ends that look as if they fit into another adapter) Is 1998 the only year not to have sidemarkers? Thank you.
