Fuel injector seals 850 1994

I have a 94 turbo. Pulled the injectors and flat doughnut shaped seals popped out of the fuel rail, upon pulling them out. Where and how do the flat doughnut shaped seals fit onto the injector. It looks like it just sits on top of it. Is that right? These are the flat ones not the ones that look like little doughnuts. Not the ones that fit around the top of the injector.
