P0102 - MAF Code 850 1996

I just got a check engine light this afternoon and the
scan code shows a P0102 - Mass or Volume Air Flow circuit low input. Any ideas on how to start tracking this down? From what little information I have been able to find on the WEB, it is caused from more air getting into the engine from a source other thean the air cleaner such as a broken vacuum line. Any good methods for tracking down air leaks besides the old trick of spraying starter fluid around some fittings?

Thanks for any help because I need to pass emissions test in about 3 weeks and I don't really want to take a reaming at the Volvo dealer if I don't have too.
