hitch receiver cap 850 1994

i am trying to locate a generic black receiver cap for my oem volvo trailer hitch. the inside dimension on the hitch is 1 5/8". the local volvo dealer doen not have a part listed for my 94'. however, the new v70's come with a cap. does anyone know if the hitch receiver for the v70's are a match to my 94'hitch...1 5/8" i.d. i have a feeling they are, but, the local dealer would have to order one in to verify.
