Has anyone got a lowered 440 with 17' Alloys? If you have, help me! Thanks Arno for your advice too! 400

Hi.
I`d just like to say thanks to Arno if he`s reading this, your help did not go unnoticed!
This is a request to anyone out there with 17`s on their 440. Ive had my car (which is a `94 2.0i SE) lowered 40mm, and i want 17`s. If you`ve got them, did you have any probs fitting them? If you did, how did you overcome them? What size tyres do you have?
