shifting out of 1st on cold mornings?

Does anyone know what would cause my 94 850 non turbo to NOT shift out of 1st for about the first 1/2 mile? I just flushed the tranny fluid, but it still does it? Also, has anyone had to replace their odometer? mine is not turning anymore after the last trip reset.
