Lower Ball Joints bad anyone else had this experience??? 850

I recently purchased a 97 850R. I took it today to have the tires rotated and balanced, and the alignment checked. I was unable to have the alignment done because of BAD LOWER BALL JOINTS. The wheel had movement that is going to affect the TOE which will cause tire wear. The LOWER BALL JOINTS are not replaceable, so I am going to have to purchase new LOWER CONTROL ARMS. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM???
