I have an intermittent low idle problem after coming to a stop that only seems to occur when it’s cold outside. The problem doesn’t seem to be related to engine temp, because it still happened after the engine was completely warmed up (temp needle in middle). It seems to only do it for the first 10 minutes of stop and go driving. The car doesn’t stall and it doesn’t even seems like it wants to stall, but after coming to a stop the engine idle drops almost half way between the 0 and 1 and I get some vibration in the cabin of the vehicle. After about 5-10 seconds after the stop the engine idle returns to the normal position, and the vibration goes away. This symptom cycles for approximately 10 minutes of the stop and go driving not to reappear again until the car cools completely down. I have already cleaned the throttle body but this made no difference. I’m also not seeing any codes. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Also, is A1 the most likely spot I’ll find a code if this symptom happens to set one?
Thanks in advance.
