used car warranty for 850? 850

we are buying an 850 (95 glt,128k) and have the option of getting one of those warranties the used car dealers sell to cover the drive train for a year. Normally i would never choose to pay for one of these things (certainly not what they usually want!), but after listening to all the fearfull statements here re 850 trannies--im considering it. waddayathink? ty h
