98 S70 oil on back of engine.

Took the 70 in for check engine light and temp sensor and thermostat
were replaced. The shop indicated the back of the engine was oily. Wanted
$100.00 to put the dye in the oil and find the leak. I declined for
the moment as I have noticed a bit of oil sheen on the driveway after it rains.
However, no noticable drips. I have watched the oil a couple of weeks like every
day and see no apparent drop in levels.
I know it doesnt take much oil to produce a sheen in water so I am thinking
this must be a very slight leak.
I understand that the (oil pan screws?) have a maint notice out due to leaking.
So does this just mean they should be retorqued? New seal? new screws? Warping of the pan?
Any insight appreciated... also any other "common" leak spots?

TIA
