Radio antenna - how many segments, total length? C70

I was wondering if Volvo changed antennas from 98 to 2002. I saw a newer C70 with a four segmented antenna, but mine only has two segments, and looks like it should extend farther.

I would like to improve the radio reception, which is only OK at this point.
