My problem started off as something minor, but has been getting progressively more regular in the time I've spent driving it. Originally, the transmission mode switch (Sport/Economy) would illuminate after turning the engine on, and would change when the switch was flipped, but recently, it has not been doing that. Rather, it has been activating somewhat irregularly. I was thinking this might have had something to do with my relocation of the switch (moved it to a more logical position for me, closer to the shift knob), but the wire tension was perfectly normal, and upon moving it back, the problems still persisted.

I've noticed that sometimes, by switching into low range or 3 and back to drive, the car lights will turn on, but It does not always happen, which serves to confuse me further.

Any suggestions?

Also, I will not be able to test any solutions until later this week, when I get home from college. I decided to post early just to get the list ready. :-)
