Stall at over 3000 rpm 850

Having some trouble with my 854T. Starts and runs fine, but if I hit the gas and it goes to boost the engine will stall. The first time it happened it restarted on the first try, but when it happened today I had to crank it several times and pump the gas. It only seems to happen when the engine is under load, since it will go to 5000 rpm in neutral without stalling. Runs fine as long as I drive like a granny.

Once had a similar problem with an old van. Turned out to be the fuel pump. Are there any other possiblities? Could this be a very clogged fuel filter? Haven't really had too much of a look inside since it's snowing up here.

Any help greatly appreciated.
