I went through Bay 13 and took apart the ignition switch becuase I have instances when the key will not come out of the ignition switch. It is a sporadic problem and at time after the car sits for awhile, the key comes out. I did not replace the electrical portion -- just took it out, and used graphite to lube everything up. Have also pressed down on the lock-out button on the console, but to no avail. I plan on buying the electrical portion of the switch and replacing that to see if it helps. I thought I read somewhere you can remove the tumblers, clean them, and re-lube with dry graphite and that helps. Has anyone done this? Please help!!! thanks
