850 SEATBACK CABLE

MY 93 850 rear elec. seat back switch/cable is broken, not sure what the heck is wrong, tilted way to far back some hommies drive like that all the time,

I need it in a proper forward postion.

my volvo shop said its usally not just the cable,
the motor works but the shank for the cable could be stripped,
therefor (new motor)????

any advice, and how much should this cost???
