I like many of you, suffered the typical ABS control module failure ($600 repair) amongst other annoying breakdowns. Eventually got sick of the POS car and sold it off late last year. I share this with you to ask that everyone that is as pist off as I am report the problem to the NHSA and write a complaint letter to key Volvo executives; Eunice Stern head of Customer Service, Thomas Forsman CEO Volvo North America and Vic Doolan President Volvo North America. In particular, John Willets is charged with responding to all customer complaints to the NA headquarters. This guy responded to my inquires with the typical "sorry but it's out of warranty". Call and write this guy and leave him a nasty message. It's bullshit that Volvo does not stand behind their product, especially when it comes to critical safety components. As for me they have lost a Volvo consumer for life...good bye just bought a Mercedes !
