sc 815 cd player

Help! Listening to commercial radio is driving me insane!
My SC 815 will not accept CDs - spits them right out after a very short scan. I tried wiping the disc super clean, and it worked, only once though...now nothing at all helps. I also looked all over the unit for the little microswitch that is on the SC 816, but to no avail. Anyone have this problem as well? Thanks for any help...
