Tire problems/blow-outs '01/02 XC V70-XC70

A relative has a '01 or '02 XC bought new with the stock tires ( did not get the brand )....will assume Michelin. She has had 3 flats in 15K, no nails/spikes, no hitting the curb or pothole damage........just loss of air????? Any known issues here???? thanks, Bill
