Hi! I have a 850 N/A w/ 120 Kmiles on the odometer. I bought the car used 4 years ago and never had transmission problems. The car was almost always garaged over night. Recently bought a new car for my wife, and my Volvo is now on the street. When the temp. got down, I noticed a strange thing: after I start the car and warm it up for 1-2 minutes, I shift into drive - the car moves fine, but seems a bit too slow to shift into the second gear, then drives fine until it has to shift into the third gear - shift is very slow, almost like it's going to start slipping. It happens only when the car is cold, and transmission starts shifting normally after 2-3 minutes of driving.
"normal" shifting in my car is somewhat hard(w/ little bang)from 1st to 2nd, then 2 to 3rd is very smooth.
The flush was done about 3 month ago w/ Castrol synthetic.
***When it happened 1st time, I called my mechanic, who said it is normal to happen in cold weather.
