I replaced a dead 99 S80 Climate Control unit with a used one from a 2001 model. The heat now works but Seat warmers and W do nothing. Also, lights on gear shift are off. I have a message "Air Bag Service Needed"

Would there be a problem using the newer Climate Control unit in a 99? Could I expect a VADIS download to clear up the problems?
