The kids are getting bigger and as spring approaches we
are thinking of same day trips and would like to bring along
four bikes. This leads me to ask: How many bikes (adult size)
can be fitted on top of an 855 with the OEM (Thule) load bars
using bike rails?

Anyone done more then 2?

Also, I've seen a couple of different designs for the bike rails.
Some require the front wheel be removed then the bike's front forks
are attached to the rail. Others mount the bike with both wheels
in place. Would one design allow more bikes up on the roof then
the other?
