I have a 850 GLT '94 and my brother is thinking about buying a 850 2.5 TDI '97 (I think it does not exist in american trade, but I suppose it doesn't mind for my question).
Volvo cars, 850's included in all worldwide versions, have a diagnosis system wich the dealer or mechanic uses to know about the service and troubleshootings.
I have heared that is possible with this system and its asociated display-tool connected to know the real mileage of the car (if the dashboard was replaced inthe past or simply if I dont believe the shown value inthe dash).
Can anybody confirm me this dubt?
Is possible to know trough the diagnosis when the timing belt was replaced? (supposed carried out in a Volvo dealer and recorded).
Thanks in advance.
