I've heard that I should not keep the keys for my 2001 S40 near each other due to some alogorthymic security microchip thing. But now I've also purchased a 2000 V70. Can I put the two different keys on the same ring? Or will I disable both cars and have to ride the bus?

Please excuse the cross-posting, I put this message in the S40 forum as well.
