Is it cost effective to buy a scanner 850 1995

What do ya' think? Is it cost effective for me to buy an engine scanner? Right now my check engine light is telling me that my oxygen sensor is failing. Well, that's what my Volvo repair shop tells me. The car is running fine. The only annoyance is the orange light on the dash.

I am inclined to buy an engine scanner if I can find one reasonably enough to 1) put the diagnostics in the owners hands and 2) to reset the dash light.

Let me know what you think. michel@cstone.net
