Code P0243, Turbo wastegate solenoid malfunction. V70-XC70 1998

Chech engine light came on the other day while accelerating to merge onto a freeway. OBD code checked out to be P0243...Turbocharger wastegate solenoid malfunction. Anyone seen this before or know of a common cause? I just reset the light....engine seems to run normal.
