New V70XC's and crosswinds experience? V70-XC70

XC owners, what is your experience with driving at hwy speed with crosswinds? In all of the suv craze I hear very little discussion about the problem of crosswinds. People I know that have driven rental suv's for first time comment about how badly they got blown all over the road by crosswinds. I have never driven a newer suv in high winds and wonder if the higher height of the XC causes a discernable difference. Even my 944 (with IPD swaybars) can get blow around some in high winds.
