Hi all, I recently did the brakes on my wife's 1998 S70, and everything went smoothly, and they work great... BUT, one event happened while I was doing them that has stuck in the back of my head, and I am wondering if its something to take seriously or just to forget about...

Ok, so here is what happened: After I had finished removing the caliper on the front left corner of the vehicle (technically not removing, rather just unbolting and swinging it out of the way, since I did not remove the lines or anything), I was recompressing the piston using a large pair of channel locks, and as the piston started to recess for me, a squirt of brake fluid shot out from between the piston and its seal. It was just a quick shot of fluid, and I have not seen any leaks since.

So that is what I have been pondering... How common is it for brake fluid to shoot out from around the piston like that, and is it cause for concern? The brakes seem to hold pressure fine, but I would hate to just lull myself into complacency on it if there is a chance I split some seal or something.
