Clear fluid leak 850

I have stored my '93 850 in the garage most of the winter. The other day I notices a puddle of clear fluid on the floor under the front of the vehicle. If it were from the rear main seal, wouldn't the fluid be oil? Also, if it were the tranny, wouldn't the fluid be red? The coolant would be yellow. The puddle seems to be about in the middle of the front tires. Could someone more knowledgeable than myself advise me of what this leak might be from? Thanks.
