Hi all,
I did my flame trap preventive cleaning maintenance on my '96 yesterday while doing my oil change and found that one of the flame trap hoses (the smallest one) was "desintegrated" right at the holder.
Trying lo locate where it was connected at the other end in order to replace the
whole line, I found that the end of that little hose wasn't connected at all where it should be (from what I've figured out: in a recessed circle on the left side of the intake manifold, just below the thermostat), but found instead an other 1" long hose connected to the manifold with a "bolt" plugged to cap off the other end...(sort of garage "engineering" repair)
I looked on my '95 flame trap holer and it's different, the other end of
that little hose is connected on the top of the throttle body instead.
Could someone tell me what is the purpose of that small hose on my '96 flame trap holder? Should I leave it unused or replace it? because the car is going fine so far, no codes, no CE lights, nothing.
Thanks
