Went to the Volvo dealer to look at this car and this vehicle seems to be in high demand. Order one now and you can't get it until September.
They only have only T6 AWD on the lot so we test drove this model. My first impression is hearing the engine reving all the time. After reading a bit more, T6s have 4 speed automatics (consumer report claims Volvo couldn't fit a 5 speed in) so it probably makes sense natural larger RPM range occurs between shifts.
So I hear the 2.5T with the 5 speed auto is the better fit even if it gives up some power and torque.
For our driving, the AWD is likely unnecessary. But the dealer told me they NEVER sale any FWD version of the XC90. Do anyone own this model? If so, how does it compare against the other 2? Is the gas mileage much better? Obviously, if the dealer never sell this model new. The resale value later would be low.
What are other people's impressions?
