Armor All for vinyl, not for rubber CV boot 850

Some people are using Armor All to protect their CV boot. I do not think Armor All is for rubber.

A person on the "All" brickboard mentioned using Silicon spray as rubber rejuvenator. I have not used Silicon and cannot tell how good it is. I have heard people using petroleum jelly (Veseline) or wheel/axel bearing grease to make the boot pliable but definitely not Armor All.
