Inline Auto Trans Filter Installation Question 850

I recently purchased the inline transmission filter for the automatic tranmission on my 93 850 GLT. It came with no instructions other than the direction of flow marked on the filter housing. My question is, if I mount this in the uppermost cooler line on the radiator (just under the air intake snorkel) which way is the flow in that line?
