10 disc CD changer for S40 S40-V40

Hi all. My brother is selling his 2001 s60 wich has a 10 disc cd changer. The new buyer is not interested in the unit. Can the s40 use this cd player ? If so are the s60's pre-wired for a trunk mounted CD ? if so were is it mounted ?

Any help would be great.
