I've got a terrible intermittent problem. My Volvo will suddenly stall, as if the key was shut off. There is no pattern. It happens warm and cold, driving fast or idling. It is gradually getting worst. If it happens while idling, it can take a long time to get it started again. My Volvo mechanic kept it for a day and the proplem would not repeat itself - typical. He said that there was nothing showing on the code. Possible hint; after numerous attempts to restart the car, there was no smell of fuel. I replaced the fuel pump reley with no success. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
