What do I need to know about 850s? Considering a purchase. 850 1997

I am thinking about buying a 1997 855, 109,000 miles good condition. The non-volvo dealer is asking $8,900. I am not very knowledgeable on 850s. Currently I have 4 700/900 cars. There is a FAQ area for buying 700/900 cars. Is there one for 850s? What do I need to look out for when buying a 850? Thanks.
