Where are the A/C charge fittings?

I can only find one place that looks like the place where you hook up the A/C pressure gauges. That is a cap that says "MAX 6 NM" on the thicker (high side?) A/C pipe. I assume the cap unscrews and the high side gauge hose goes there? Where does the low side gauge hose connect?

Also, somebody mentioned a "pressostat" as being near the "MAX 6 NM" cap. I see a connector on the thinner (low side?) pipe that has 3 wires. Is that it? If you want to test this by jumping it, which wires do you jumper together?
