Wife`s 855 stalling intermittently!

Hi,
For the past 3 weeks my wife`s 855T has been stalling randomly(seemingly) but always when coming up to a stop or slowing to turn a corner. I know there have been other posts regarding this problem & they have suggested FP relay, fuel filter or weak battery. However, the car began to stall yesterday & my wife moved the gear shift knob just slightly(it`s auto)& the tranny shifted & the power returned. Is there a gear selector switch that`s at fault & the tranny is not downshifting as it should causing the stall-out?
The car is going to the dealer on Thursday & I need some info before then so that the dealer tech`s aren`t guessing on my dime.
