Hello all,

I recently changed a few lamps in my instrument panel with no problems. Everything worked very well. Two days later, in the middle of the night, all of my instruments went dark. Everything attached to the dimmer solenoid (temp controls, shifter, instruments) will not work when I turn on the headlights. I proceeded to remove the instrument panel again and check for loose connections. I checked the fuses, and yes, I know the sunroof is on the same fuse as the instruments. No blown fuses, no loose connections. My question is: Are the instrument lamps affected by a bad dimmer solenoid and should I replace the dimmer solenoid to fix the problem?
