My 850 smells like spring onions 850 1997

My 1997 855 GLT with 107k has a smell that I can't get rid of. I have installed a new pollen filter and put a fabric softener sheet on top of it and underneath the seats. I have cleaned the carpets and sprayed with Fabreze. I have sprayed the vents with Lysol. I have let it air out for a week. It still smells and it seems like the odor is coming from the a/c vents. How can I fix it?
