how fast can it go?! 850 1993

I was on the highway yesterday going 120km/h and the car started shaking (mainly the steering wheel). I brought it down to 100 and it stopped. Is it the alignment or tire balance? How fast can a 93 Volvo 850 GLT go anyway?
