We had our brakes replaced and they had a bad squeek (our local mechanic not volvo), he said oh its just because they are new they will wear in. Then about a year later its still here, so we took them in to be replaced today, they still squeek! The guy there cannot figure out why, he said maybe try ceramic pads, however, much more costly and we already bought the others (non-returnable). Has anyone else experienced this problem? Could it be a problem of something other then the breake pads? It also had a rattle, and this time around its pretty much fixed but we still hear a mild rattle. As for the squeeking this time, so far its only in reverse but last time it started mild and got worse over time. Any ideas?
