My mom has an 94 850 Turbo that had some start problems. One day it'd start, another it wouldn't then the next it'd start out of nowhere. So today I goto pop the hood and I see a mushroom of green corrosion around the battery. I begin fiddling with the connections and I literally have to scrape teh corrosion away before I can even see the bolts. I finally see the bolts and I notice there is a red wire severed from the connection. The positive terminal has 3 red wires (2 encased in a black sleeve) and the third one, not in the black sleeve connected to the positive lead.
To make a long story short, I get the corrosion off and clean the connections with some brushes, and connect it all back and try to start the car. Everything gets power, but the car won't start. I hold the red disconnected wire over the terminal and when I turn the key the lights flicker, but no start. I try to jump the car, but nothing happens. Where should I go from here?
