ABS lights on codes 314,324 S70

Have a 98 S70 with the ABS and TRACS light coming on and off alot. Took it to volvo dealer they said the trouble codes 314,324 which i thing are right rear wheel sensor, anyway dealer says ABS control unit is bad they want $600.00 for new control unit. Anybody ran into this problem. All help appreciated!!!!
