Vibration/Shudder Solution :) :) :)

After 4 mechanics I finally got to the bottom of why my 99 V70 Wagon was shuddering/vibrating (when approaching a stop).

It turns out the Throttle Body was dirty and “mucked-up.” The mechanic serviced the throttle body and she drives like butter …not a single vibration or shudder.

I had one mechanic tell me “listen if you’re going own a Volvo you need to get used to the shudder ...they all do it.”

I had another mechanic tell me the rotors were bad (even though it would shudder without applying the brakes). And I have yet another mechanic tell me the wheels were most likely bent and out of round.

Thank god I found a shop that knows how to fix Volvo’s. I can’t believe how smooth and strong the engine runs.

Special thanks go out to the folks at Viking Automotive in Laguna Hills, CA.
