Very ODD noise upon starting S70

My 1998 S70 T5 Auto with 80K miles has a strange "grunt" it lets out when first started (low vibration?), usually the first time of the day. On subsequent starts (after driving for a few minutes minimum, and then parked for a short time), the noise is not present!!

However, IF the car is driven and stay parked for SEVERAL hours (day or night) the "grunt" is there again.

The duration of this noise is consistent, and only about 1 or 2 seconds at most, so it's got me puzzled. I did change the upper engine torque arm mount to a different style (not OEM Volvo, but the more rigid type), could that have something to do with it--or even a different mount underneath is going bad??

And, lastly, what is done on the "official" 80K mile service--anything major??
