electric front passager seat 1995

I removed the panel under the glove box to remove a plastic bag from the air conditioner blower. When I turned around the front seat back collapsed into the back seat. Now I do not have any power to the seat and the back is locked in a reclining position. How do I get the seat back in an upright position and is this purly an electrical problem? This a 1995 960.
