Hello all,
I posted a while back about my gas gauge problem where the gauge would operate sporadically, reading the correct level at one instant, then going promplty to empty.
I managed to take the sender out Saturday and cleaned thoroughly with carburetor cleaner, though it wasn't visibly dirty. Reinstalled, and the symptom where the gauge would "bottom out" and kick the low fuel light on randomly occured again.
Where should I look next? I didn't have my multitester present when I had the sender disassembled. Is it likely that a replacement of the level sender will solve the problem?
Thanks again,
Nate
